Healthcoast’s product is called HealthFolio™. HeatlhFolio™ is a software that resides on a users PC, and allows them to simply create a personal medical record for themselves, family member and/or loved one. In addition, the software provides additional features that allows the user to either more accurately build a medical record, improve their understanding of healthcare issues or enhance the communication with their healthcare service providers.

Product Development Focus

Healthcoast continues to focus on finding other practical solutions to help individuals and family members more effectively and efficiently communicate healthcare issues or needs with their healthcare providers. Healthcoast either develops the product in house, or creates relationships with companies that already have developed solutions. Some of the solutions that Healthcoast is concentrating on developming are:

Portability Solutions – allowing the patient to either take their medical record with them or provide services whereby the physician can gain access remotely. Online Scheduling - allows patients to request a scheduled appointment time, which is then approved by the office staff and confirmed. Disease Specific Management - allows a patient to manage specific diseases. Prescription Refill Notifications – allows a patient to notify a prescribing physician that they needs a refill. Whereby the physician can authorize and fill through their ePrescription provider. Digital Registration Forms - allows the patient to finish the tedious paperwork prior to arriving in the office, decreasing waiting time. Health Information Steering- once an individual has built a medical record, it will automatically build a profile of pertinent healthcare information web-sites so they can gain additional knowledge about their specific health issues.
